What you can do

Product master

Store name, category, brand, description, supplier, unit and pack size.

Pricing and tax

Maintain GST-inclusive purchase cost, cash price, credit price, GST rate and HSN code.

Stock controls

Track stock quantity, low-stock threshold, batch, manufacturing date, expiry and barcode.

Catalog views and history

Search, filter, sort, switch card/table views, inspect product or sales history and create loose stock from packs.

Step-by-step

Add accurate product details once so billing, stock and GST reports work reliably.

  1. Open Products and select Add Product

    Use the main navigation, then choose Add Product. On web you can also start from Dashboard.

  2. Choose or enter the product identity

    Select a catalog item when available, or enter product name, category, brand, unit and pack size.

  3. Enter price, tax and stock

    Add purchase price, cash and credit prices, opening stock, GST rate, HSN, low-stock level, batch and dates as applicable.

  4. Save and verify

    Save the product, search for it in Products, and confirm the correct pack variant and stock.

  5. Split packs only when required

    Use Split Product to consume full packs and create the calculated loose quantity. Confirm available pack stock before saving.

Can I see where a product was sold?

Yes. Product sales history lists customer, invoice, quantity, unit price, total and status.

What does Legacy mean?

It identifies records imported through an older or bulk-import path.
