Billing: measure the complete task
Time product selection, quantity checks, tax review, payment recording and printing together. Record the device, connection and number of lines. A single fast demonstration is not a typical transaction benchmark.
OCR: include review time
Upload a supplier invoice photo or PDF. Kroply extracts information into a draft; review and correct every line before saving the purchase to update stock. Measure upload, extraction, corrections and saving. Keep difficult layouts and unsuccessful attempts in the evaluation.
Customer credit: check the ledger
Compare opening balance, credit sales, receipts and returns for the same customer and dates. A reminder is a communication step, not evidence of collection.
A measurement worksheet
For each sample, record the task, line count, device, connection, start and end time, corrections and final result. Use redacted or synthetic examples and clearly label them.
Interpreting results
Compare like-for-like tasks before deciding whether software fits your shop. Do not infer industry adoption, compliance or financial improvement from a small demonstration.
